the second segment symbolizes the pupa stage of a butterfly’s growth; here, it portrays women being ‘trapped’ in their own insecurities as a result of the constant exposure to these unrealistic beauty standards. it intends to show how one can spiral down a rabbit hole of obsessing over ‘imperfections’ and comparing oneself with others in both social and mainstream media.
